New Year's Eve Events In The Inland Empire.

I've Been Asking My Friends And Relatives If They Knew What Was Happening Out Across The Inland Empire Concerning News Years Eve Parties. I Was Surprised At The Number Of Establishments, From Small Bars To Mission Sized Venue'S That Were Going To Hold New Years Eve Event Of Some Sort. Some Of These Events Have Been Held For Years And I Have Actually Been To Several Of The Restaurants Mentioned So That Gives Me An Added Edge. Driving 300 Miles A Day For 15 Years Gives You Plenty Of Time And Opportunities To Visit A Lot Of Places.

So Here Goes. What Follows Is My List Of The Best Of The Best Of The Places I Have Visited Over The Years And Their Plans For New Year Eve Parties. I Hope One Or Tow Of Them Are To You Liking.

For Those Of You Who Live Out In The Hemet And San Jacinto Areas There Are Actually Several Nice Restaurants That Are Holding New Years Eve Parties. Among Them Are;

Its Not That Large A Place But The Atmosphere Is Real Nice Inside And Is Generally A Good Place To Sit Back And Listen To The Music.

Have you heard anything good about the party they are throwing at the W hotel aloft in Rancho Cucamonga. I read that they're having an open bar, appetizers, dancing, dj and champagne toast for $75. If it's anything like their hotel parties in Hollywood then it's going to be crazy!

KCAA 1050 Radio, The Castaway Restaurant and Night Life Productions Present
Southern California's Premier New Years's Eve Party Thursday December 31, 2009
Hosted By Radio Veterans, Your Music Team - Steven Naranjo Jr. & Fred Plimley.

The New Year's Eve Bash will take place at the prestigious Castaway Restaurant
at 670 Kendall Drive at the top of "E" Street in San Bernardino, featuring a
breath-taking view of San Bernardino and surrounding communities from 8 PM until
1 PM.

For the first time ever, the entire event will be broadcast live on KCAA 1050 AM
- Southern California's Best Radio and also audio-streamed live on the Internet
at - hosted by Your Music Team, Fred Plimley and Steven
Naranjo Jr, "Playing Only Your Requests and Dedications."

Fred Plimley and Steven Naranjo Jr. are both long-time radio veterans who have
come together at KCAA 1050 AM to put on a family oriented program every Saturday
from 1-4 PM PST "Remembering the good old days of radio."

Their "Your Music Team" show airs every
Saturday from 1-4 PM Pacific Time and features old school, R&B, oldies,
electronic and more and is an entirely request and dedication program. The
program can also be accessed worldwide at

"We'll are playing family friendly radio," said Naranjo, "it's an upbeat radio
show that is involved with the community."

"Many stations play what they want", Plimley said, "But we play what the
listeners want."

"Too many shows today play the same music over and over," said Naranjo. "We will
never repeat the same song within the whole set.

"We are going back to my old motto of Playing Only Your Requests and
Dedications," said Plimley. "Listeners don't get that anywhere today."

The program features special guests and a lot of local talent, as
opposed to already big name artists. In fact, the local band Full Circle is
currently working to create a jingle for the program.

"We play lots of great music that doesn't get a lot of play on other stations
because they're not part of the big oiled machine," Naranjo said. A big part of
this new program is also a personal touch with listeners that they feel is
missing from traditional radio.

"Radio isn't personal anymore," Naranjo said. "What people get with us
is personal attention, two guys who care about the listeners. We want to be a
part of our listener's extended familes."

The move to create such a program was many years in the making. Naranjo, a
Bloomington High School graduate, and Plimley, who has who has worked at KVCR,
KOLA and KUOR (University of Redlands) are both seasoned radio vets with more
than 30 combined years in radio.

Naranjo has worked with bands such as El Chicano, Tierra, Al Wilson and Little
Joe and La Familia and also now runs Night Life Productions, which provides DJ
and promotion services. The two began working together in the 80's at KUOR 89.1
FM and for six years they also provided the music and entertainment for all the
concerts and dances at the National Orange Show.

"Our program appeals to a younger audience, parents, and even grandparents."
Plimley concluded. "It's really a great program that everyone will enjoy."

any place in Hemet is totally lame including after 5 I have been there several times in hopes of having a good time and I never have. Its also way too small

There was one missed that should definitely be added to the list of things to do in the Inland Empire for NYE 2014!! In Corona, Ca at SMASH MOUTH along with 3 other bands will be taking the stage for a great night of music and fun. The price includes, 3 bands plus SMASH MOUTH HEADLINING, along with a champagne toast, party favors and a surprise at midnight!
I know I am attending, it is so great to have a high level band like Smash Mouth in our local area along with some high energy bands with great musicianship! All the VIPS are almost sold out, but there is still GA tickets available. I already have a booth for 10 people booked. So glad to be able to stay local for something fun and taking an Uber ride to and from.
