"The River" - Haunted stream / creek in Mead Valley CA

Off the 215 south(coming from riverside) north(coming from Temecula) going towards San Diego. Its off of Cajalco/Romona express way going towards Mead Vally (not Perris) Cajalco road.. you make a left on Gavilan rd. you go up like a little less than a mile and you will run into many trees, there you pull over, on your right side your gonna see a white cross (that some one died there) and some huge logs and its a little creek (you walk down).
The "story" goes, KKK lives around that area of mead valley so they went out a couple of nights and killed 80 people in a certain couple of days (this happened in the 90's) and dumped the bodies in that creek/stream, rumors go that it came out in the news and newspaper BUT later it was so much of brutal killing that police decided to take it off for good!
I've been to it and its very creepy! Some say if you're quiet you can hear the cries of the people coming from the creek/stream. I've taken pictures of the creek/stream and many orbs come out in the pics! I went in the morning and saw womans hair laying on rocks like if it was torn out of there head.
Not many people know about this place because of the news not releasing information on it. The times I've been there I hear foot steps running, my phone suddenly turns of with out me pushing anything. Its really something to see. I live in Perris and locals around here that have heard of it call it "the river". Just going up Gavilan rd gives you the goose bumps! It's a really scary place filled with paranormal activity!

i live in gavilan! One late night I was driving home with my cousin going up gavilan rd almost by the creek and we see a group of like four people dressed in all white. We pass them and we both said to eachother Fu** that lets go back and we did they where gone we went back and forth hoping to see them pop out again but no luck!!

yes, it did happen I was 18 when the killings happened and knew some of the guys who were involved.. but it was two people who got murdered and it was a knife fight.. not 80 (get real, like the bodies would just disappear) and not some sac religious killing.. I've lived in the area my whole life..I dont know about orbs coming from the area, but it is creepy and has an odd setting considering the landscape surrounding it. IMO, you should be more afraid of the people who live around here than an unsolved murder case..

Orbs are just a reflection of dust or pollen from the camera's flash.. Turn off the flash and mysteriously, the orbs no longer appear. Of course believers will tell you that the ghostly apperations 'suck the energy' of the camera's flash to make themselves appear, and that's why they no longer appear when the flash is off.. but, this does not explain why these orbs can be made to appear virtually anywhere - i guess this means that anywhere you go with a small point-and-shoot is haunted..

my sister in law drove thru there at 4am on her way to work and said she saw a man walking in the middle of the road and when she got infront of it , it dissapered

So let me just get this straight:
1) a group of 80 people get murdered - by the KKK no less - it DOES get reported in the media and would surely be one of the biggest stories in the last 50 years! ..But afterwards, the police decide that this crime is so brutal, that they demand that the newspapers, and all the media not only stop reporting on it, but also recall all of the newspapers that had already been printed and sold - of course, the newspapers and media fully disregard their Constitutional responsibility, and go along with the request of the police and do a full coverup. All family members of the 80 victims remain silent, no questions asked.
2) You go to the place, take a picture that shows "orbs" (aka, dust reflections on the lens from the early morning sun or your flash - or both)
3) You see hair on the rocks - you know this is from a human how? You know this is from a woman how? You had your camera, did you take a picture of it?
I have a few simple explanations for your tall-tail: either stupidity, bullshit, or a combination thereof.. 'cmon!
