The City of Yucaipa incorporated in 1989. Since that time, the community has experienced a significant level of growth to the current population of approximately 47,000 residents.

Yucaipa is located off of the 10 freeway just east of Redlands. It is located on an upper plateau of the Santa Ana River. Hwy 330 leads thru the city as it heads up to other small communities of Forest Falls, Angelus Crests and then into Big Bear City.

New Omnitrans Center Opening in Yucaipa

Come celebrate the opening of the Yucaipa Transit Center, with local dignitaries, a City Council dedication, and a special performance by Yucaipa Christian Preschool students!

A joint project more than five years in the making, the $2.7 million Transit Center will begin service on two Omnitrans routes on Tuesday, July 13 and will introduce a new city circulator route, OmniGo, in September. The Transit Center will provide more than 80 departures daily when fully operational this fall, with room for future regional expansion and connections.

Yucaipa Transit Center to Offer New Service, Better Connections

Enhanced transit connectivity, comfortable amenities, and a future city circulator route await customers at the brand-new Yucaipa Transit Center. The public is invited to join Omnitrans, the City of Yucaipa, and local dignitaries to celebrate the grand opening of the city’s new transit hub on Monday, July 12 at 4:30 p.m.

A joint project of Omnitrans and the City more than five years in the making, the Center is located at 34276 Yucaipa Boulevard, adjacent to City Hall.
