Day Creek Park in Rancho Cucamonga is a great place for young and old alike. Complete with playgrounds for young children 2-4 years of age, older children 4-8 years of age, tennis courts, two baseball fields, walking track, BBq's, covered seating areas perfect for birthday parties and restrooms.

An area little know outside of the IE, there is an area in several secluded canyons that offer an escape from the traffic and business of Southern California. It is know as Lytle Creek Canyon

It's just been converted into a concrete channel for most of its 100 mile long route which eventually empties into the Pacific Ocean near New Port Beach. And even though it is now mostly concrete it is still one the longest river systems in Southern California.
So you want to surf the Mojave.....
