The Easter Bunny will make a stop at Orange Empire Railway Museum March 28-29. Kids will experience the magic of trains and the magic of the Easter Bunny at this incredibly popular annual event. The Easter Bunny will visit on board with each child and give them a special treat. Children will decorate baskets then follow a treasure map to find Easter Eggs. The fun continues with bunny hop potato sack and egg races and much more children’s entertainment. Families can ride trains and trolleys all day.

Celebrate Steampunk at the second annual Iron Horse/Family Steampunk Carnivale at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris March 21-22. Enjoy a steampunk fashion and turn-of-the-last-century costume contests. Poplock Homes will perform Victorian-flavored hip-hop An evening highlight will be Steam Powered Giraffe, a popular musical pantomime group. Also enjoy a tea on board a dining car, clothing and jewelry vendors and much more. Ride behind a massive steam-powered locomotive, the innovation and technology of the Victorian era.

Cleghorn Jeep Trail Closed!

Sorry to let all you Jeepers and other off-roaders know that they are pretty much closing down the Cleghorn Ridge Offroad Trail!

For the last few weeks they have been putting up fence-posts across almost every obsticle run on the trail, leaving only a few open. Most noteable to be closed is "Pucker Hill"!

As of the end of January 2015, the actual fencing is not up, only the fence posts, but it probably will be completed in the next few weeks.

Cinco de Mayo Festival In San Jacinto

The City of San Jacinto is hosting it's 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo festival on Historic Main St downtown San Jacinto.

The event will be held Saturday May 3rd 2014 from 2pm - 10 pm. The event will be on Main Street between 5 corners and Alessandro Ave. The Festival will inlcude a car show, food, Hispanic Merchandise Vendors, A small train, jumpers, children games and more. In addition there will be entertainment throughout the event with is Concert and Street Dance beginning at 6:30.
