Late Night On the Border is at the border, Food wise that is, and....
will find you happy, well fed and ready for the next day as we like to say... 'On the Border' Cantina, sports bar and family restaurant is another of those themed restaurants that you want to return to as often as you can. they are a nationwide chain and one of there establishments just happens to be right down the street from me on Foothill in the Target Center. Open in 2002 'On the border' has been a favorite of the entire family ever since. There lunch specials which last from 11:am to 4:PM are priced for the person or persons on the fly and don't have time to sit in the sports bar and have to get back to work. Night Time though, is catered for those who have the time to sit down, have a few drinks, enjoy a great meal and watch or cheer there favorite team on to victory from one of 12 large screen TV's. And they have something for every one. I personally have had the triple dinner which consisted of two cheese enchiladas, and a chili Rejeno, black beans and rice, Corona and a to die for double fudge chocolate cake. Cost; about $12.00 per person. another favorite of mine here is the chili Colorado, nice fat free chucks of pork cooked in a green chili salsa covered with cheeses, beans and rice and flour tortillas, with a ice cold corona or Miller genuine draft, it just hits the spot. Another favorite of mine is the Carne Asada dinner. Nice pieces of steak picado soaked in lime juice, and cooked on a supper hot grill to lock in the flavors with sliced peppers and onions, three cheeses, black beans and rice as sides and if you like a bit of change, a tall glass of Ice Tea. 'On the Borders' is located at 10680 foothill blvd in Rancho and there phone number is 909-481-9150. They also do catering and will make your dinner to go just in case you don't have the time to stay. All I can tell you is that if you are with a large group, family or alone you wont feel alone 'On the Border' Gary Hall the ghostpainter

On The Border - Rancho
actually i'm not much of a fan of this place.. neither is my wife.. We prefer Acapulco, but since the closest one is in Montclair, On the Border "will do" ..
