Located at 3616 University Ave just on the other side of Market Street, the Lake Alice Trading Company is your destination if you are looking for place that is fun, where you can make as much as a mess as you want and they will clean it for you....They can handle groups from 10 to 200...All you have to do is give them a call and ample warning that you are coming and they will be ready for you and all you have to pay for is the food and beverages your group eats in a special reserved room set aside at no additional charge.

As i wrote above, this place is ready for you when your group arrives....they will make sure that your group has plenty of pool tables, football tables and pinball games at your disposal....Meanwhile you are free to roam the grounds and see what else is happening with other groups, or pull up a bar stool and enjoy what ever game happens to be on....On Thursdays, they have Karaoke, and live Music on the weekends and a jukebox that plays over 100,000 songs the rest of the week.

No, why? Well it is close by...Say! didn't that use to be the Old Club 66....

I think this place was opened in 2005, replacing a place that was called the Pink Perppermt club, which use to be the old Club 66, that was so popular during the 60's, 79's and 80's. But like so many places it remained a place we gotta go to but never quite made it too.....Considering it's almost across the street from us on Foothill, this weekend I figured it was about time we paid a visit to the Twins Club.

Located at 10134 Foothill, the Owners of the Twins Club Restaurant and Night Club say that the Twins combines the best indoor and patio dining with the best entertainment around.....The interior is decorated with Beer and Liquor Mirrors, a very large black and white checkered dance floor, square tables and dim lights....Guest can choose from a number of entertainment activities, such as billiads, live music and watching the latest NFL game on one of the giant screen TV's.

Mexican food & Dancing go well together at this beautiful Downtown Palm Springs Adobe style Restaurant. Las Casuelas Terraza celebrated 20 years of successful operations this past February. Many of the opening day employee's are still working for the same owners, and none of them have any regrets. In fact, there are four Degado family restaurants on the lower desert, all of them serving time honored Mexican cuisine made in the traditional Mexican style, with original recipes borrowed from both families of the owners and there grandmothers.

Well, not quite, but they are the Follies and they are based on the Follies Bergere' of Paris France Fame, but that's where the similarity ends....This Follies has one dancer who is 83 years old, and her sister who is still dancing, is 84.

Every day for several years I passed this place along side of the 91 westbound on the south side of Riverside just north of the Corona area, and often wondered what kind of place it was....Then one day I had to deliver some court papers to the office from Ragging Waters in Valencia for signature by management....I had a few minutes to stroll around, and I discovered this Castle Park deserved much more than a causal glance from the 91 freeway.

Castle Park was built back in 1976 much on the same scale as other family styled amusement parks....It started out looking like your standard Bullwinkle's or another children's destination Chuck & Chesses.....But the similarity soon ended....The Owners, who by the way are the same people who own Magic Mountain in Valencia, built Castle Park as the Ultimate Family Entertainment Park in the US....And as Castle Park continued to expand and add new rides, tearing out some of the older ones that did not draw as well, eventually won the park the coveted title, Best Family Attraction in the Inland Empire.

Looking for a place the whole family can enjoy, in the day time as well into the wee hours of the night as long as the kids can stay awake....We'll have you ever been to Scandia's in Ontario....The family destination for fun in the sun and playing or screaming to your hearts desire as the night wears on.....Scandia's might be the place just for you.

If running with the kids tires you out you can send them out into the night while you relax at one of two restaurants at Scandia's.....The Scandia Grill and Olga's Kitchen offer some good food and a place for you to either feed the whole family or relax and kick you heels up while the kids troop on.
