The Magic Lamp Inn
Submitted by iedude on Sat, 06/03/2006 - 8:39am
The Magic Lamp Inn is one of California's original steakshouses and has been a comfortable and family outpost for diners on Historic Route 66 for over 50 years. The restaurant recreates earlier and simpler days in the Inland Empire with the giant fireplace lounge and beautiful dark wood and brick pillars.

From approximatly 1940 through the 1950's the Inn was owned by the Nosenzo family exclusivly featuring an italian menu. After the restaurant was sold to Edit and Frank Penn and the Clearman family in 1955, the menu was changed to steak and seafood which it still proudly serves today.
The restaurant was purchased by Anthony Vernola in 1975 and it remains one of the Inland Emprie's most magical places for good food and atmosphere.
The Magic Lamp Inn is located at 8189 Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga
