Ever been to the Twins Club?

No, why? Well it is close by...Say! didn't that use to be the Old Club 66....

I think this place was opened in 2005, replacing a place that was called the Pink Perppermt club, which use to be the old Club 66, that was so popular during the 60's, 79's and 80's. But like so many places it remained a place we gotta go to but never quite made it too.....Considering it's almost across the street from us on Foothill, this weekend I figured it was about time we paid a visit to the Twins Club.

Located at 10134 Foothill, the Owners of the Twins Club Restaurant and Night Club say that the Twins combines the best indoor and patio dining with the best entertainment around.....The interior is decorated with Beer and Liquor Mirrors, a very large black and white checkered dance floor, square tables and dim lights....Guest can choose from a number of entertainment activities, such as billiads, live music and watching the latest NFL game on one of the giant screen TV's.

They do have a good looking menu....They serve Italian Mediterranean cuisine with steaks, chicken seafood or pasta entrees, but I found the hamburger plate a very good meal....The bar features a good selection of domestic and imported beers, wines and liquors....something for everyone.

This is a fun little night club, that is slowly building a base of returning fans....There is security inside and outside which is good to see, and I suppose if you are a woman going in alone as my neighbor has, she feels the safety net that the security guards put around the place....She says it is a safe place to meet people, or just sit at the bar and watch people dance into the wee hours of the morning.

Tuesday Night is ladies night and everyone gets in free up till 10:30 PM....All well drinks are $2.00 each....Twins Nightclub $1000 Thursdays is were it's at!.....That's the prize for the dance contest.....I noticed a large gathering of nice looking women get ready to hit the dance floor.....We just happened to be there on Thursdays and the dance contest had already attracted a large crowd....Oh did I mention the Mountain standing at the main door checking ID's....He looks like a jail bird with several tattoos and a look that stop a bullet.....Then he greets you, and you wonder if all those tattoos are part of the suit....Some of the bands are locals and and as local bands go they are not to bad, but they have a new DJ from Amsterdamn and he makes up for a lot of bad talent.

If you don't want to drive to Hollywood or OC. I would go here.....I had a much better time than I expected too.....Afterall I was trying to judge this place with the Old Club 66....It passed.
