Day Creek Park in Rancho Cucamonga
Submitted by iedude on Sat, 08/05/2006 - 1:17pm
Day Creek Park in Rancho Cucamonga is a great place for young and old alike. Complete with playgrounds for young children 2-4 years of age, older children 4-8 years of age, tennis courts, two baseball fields, walking track, BBq's, covered seating areas perfect for birthday parties and restrooms.
Clean and new!
Day Creek park is only a few years old, but already the city has made improvements. In June 2006 all of the rubber matting around the playgrounds was replaced, and the city is currently replacing all the baseball field lighting. The entire park is always well kept and clean.
Day Creek park is rarely crowded, even on the nicest of days. On some weekends little-league baseball games are held, so you might have to park in the school parking lot next door. But even with two baseball games happening simultaneously there is plenty of room for everyone, and the children's playgrounds aren't over-crowded.
If you're looking for a nice place for a birthday party, or a good way for the kids to blow-off steam, Day Creek Park at the corner of Banyan and Day Creek Blvd. in Rancho Cucamonga is the perfect place.
