The Redlands Annual Christmas Parade
Submitted by Ghostpainter on Wed, 11/26/2008 - 9:32pm
The Redlands Christmas Parade Committee invites you to either view or participate in the annual Redlands Christmas Parade, and as in the past, the event will be held after dark to highlight all of the lighted floats and cars. Saturday Evening, Dec. 6th, 6:00pm - Rain Date Dec. 13th. Line-Up: 4:00-4:30pm
I must admit that It has been quite a while since I had the chance to march in this parade, and that was in 1966. Not much has changed except that now their are more food vendors and the parade itself is much larger and last longer.
Other than that downtown Redlands has not changed that much. If you would like to attend the Parade, head east on the 10 and get off the freeway at Orange and then turn south or right. There is plenty of parking to the west of the city and on many side streets and the walk in to the parade is not that difficult.
I hope you enjoy the small town atmosphere of the Christmas Parade. the event is Presented By The Kiwanis Club of Redlands and they do a lot of hard work with volunteers to get the parade up and running each year that they have been spsoner.
