Haunted Calixico Ghost Town
Submitted by Ghostpainter on Sun, 09/20/2009 - 3:33pm
Out in Calico and actually behind the actual "ghost town" in the pitted landscape of tunnels and canyons, there is a small road that ends at an open area.. On the Winter solstice (Dec 21 or 22 depending on the year} a bizarre collection of ghosts, animal and human, act out what seems to be a ritual of some kind.. First a slowly moving bear crosses the length of the open area, to seemingly clear the stage for the others to come..
This story sounds a little dubious to me.. I mean, does someone actually stay out there and watch this event unfold, with no camera, or camcorder? Please... Like I said, I think someone was smoking to much turbo if you ask me, but then again, no one has.

Ghostship in a Ghost Town
On 10-1-2008 I read a story in the Nov. Dec. issue of The Gold Prospector magizine about the Lost Treasure Galleon of the Mojave Desert , In the story i came up with three clues , that it was flooded , that a man named Gil Riggs found a sword hand from the 1500's in the San Felip wash next to the Salton Sea , and that in 1890 a man came in to Kane Springs California and said that he had found an old ship near by but when he went back to it he couldn't find it. Then i was looking in the G.P.A.A.'s miners guide and found a forth clue that in Kern county some people had found 1500's Spanish armour , cooking utensils , weapons , and coins. Then i got on Google maps and started looking at the area thats when i found the fifth clue the Mojave river and that it was flooded at the time, thats when i found it on 4-2-2009 a ghostship in a ghost town . Thats Calico Ghost Town dry lake bed . Satalite image dates back to 1961. its the only thing on the lake bed.
Lost Treasure Galleon of the Mojave Desert
So you're saying that it's just Calico, or it's actually in the dry lake bed? Can you post a link to the Google Map location?
