Bin 189 opens in Lake Arrowhead.....

This gastronomical hot spot, tucked inside the posh, newly renovated Lake Arrowhead Resort on Highway 189, serves scrumptious gourmet cuisine that's not haughty......Many of the dishes start as all-American favorites that the executive chef imbues with fresh and intriguing ingredients and seasonings.

And the Resort, has been made into a overnight or weekend lovers retreat.....for instance.....After a night of gourmet dinning you can arrange what the resort refers to as "the Dirty Weekend".....This is a room intended for two, to indulge in a night of sensuous delights....Citrus scented candles, massage oils and bath bombs await you in your room....Also provided are Tequila, lime wedges, a shaker and shot glasses and a special dessert.....A little pot of Dark chocolate with brushes ample enough for a full body paint or just a few dabs, and upon request a special bottle of lemon flavored whipped topping....also included is a digital camera for your discreet use or own peril....After a night of quite reflections a meal is served in your room with Bloody Mary's exactly the way you like them....All of this must be booked at least 12 hours before your visit and you must call for pricing.

Another resort special for lovers is a Beach Blanket Butler for a lake side weekend.....A cabana tent for two is set up on the resorts private beach....Here you can spend the entire weekend with that someone special in your life....all you need is a cell phone to keep connected to the resort and each call will bring what ever your hearts desire....Full gourmet meals, house drinks, or wines, iced sea food and an iced vegetable tray are brought discreetly to your sealed Cabana....another call brings ice cream, sorbet, or even freshly made sorbet fruit for those special moments.....You must provide at least 24 hour notice during the summer months....during the winter months the action shifts to the inside of the resort.

So if you are looking for a night or weekend in Lake Arrowhead to spend a different sort of Night Life, Lake Arrowheads newly reopened Lake Arrowhead Resort on Highway 189 is the place you are looking for....Reservations are a must almost any time of the year over the weekends.....Bin 189 is open from 7: am to 10:pm during the week and 7:am to 11:pm Fridays and Saturdays.

The resort never closes of course....It is always open for weekend or weeknight entertainment, or if you prefer your sports out doors, they have an newly planted 18 hole Gold course and New Tennis Facility.

Golf in Lake Arrowhead dates back to the 1930's when the rolling pastureland of Grass Valley was molded into nine holes of Kentucky blue grass golf......In the early 1960's the back nine was carved out of nearby hills and ravines that serpentine away from the clubhouse and then back to the front of the resort....Tee times must be booked through reservations as this is a private club and all players must be registered guests of Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.....Tee Time Fees are $110 on weekdays and $125 on weekends.

Tennis.....The resort now offers six hard courts and one clay court that make up the Lake Arrowhead Country Club Tennis Facility.........Overlooking the tennis courts is a spacious and well-stocked tennis pro shop that is adjacent to an umbrella shaded viewing deck.....During the season, May 1st through mid-October, the ATPA pro and assistant are available for private or group lessons......Court times must be booked through reservations as this is a private club and all players must be registered guests of Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa......Court Time Fees, (minimum of 2 people) Weekdays and Weekends, $30 (for 2 people)....it costs $15 for each additional person.

The shopping at Lake Arrowhead Village is second to none........With everything from elegant boutiques and factory outlets, the Village is a shopper’s paradise......Enjoy a children’s playground, tour-boat trips on the Arrowhead Queen, and waterskiing school. There is nothing quite like dining on the lake, watching the boats go by while enjoying great cuisine......Whatever you’re in the mood for, a quick bite or a casual Mexican dinner, the Village is the place to be seen or people watching....Many Hollywood types still make Lake Arrowhead there vacation home, and it is not unusual to see one or two of your favorite people out for a day in the sun or snow.
