The City of Yucaipa incorporated in 1989. Since that time, the community has experienced a significant level of growth to the current population of approximately 47,000 residents.
Yucaipa is located off of the 10 freeway just east of Redlands. It is located on an upper plateau of the Santa Ana River. Hwy 330 leads thru the city as it heads up to other small communities of Forest Falls, Angelus Crests and then into Big Bear City.
Yucaipa's weather is noted for its extremes. It can be 107 in Mid June and freezing and snowy in December.
